Marble Hill

Marble Hill is a private estate with a Vice-Regal heritage, romantic architecture and glorious views. It is the perfect place to host your special celebration or event, made all the more memorable with our fine wines, fresh local foods and spectacular sunsets. The old Stables at Marble Hill have recently undergone major renovations to create a boutique event venue, which represents all the splendour of South Australia's prosperous past. With original stone walls and exposed timber beams, heated slate floors and an open fire, soaring lime-washed ceilings and antique chandeliers, it is a unique and versatile space, ideal for private and corporate events, including wine-tastings, banquets, dinners, meetings, cocktail parties and weddings. French doors open out onto the veranda and the walled terrace, with breathtaking views across the hills to the city, the sea and the sky beyond. Restoration of the park-like Vice-Regal gardens is underway, with the planting of fire-resistant deciduous trees, roses and bulbs. Features include a fern wall, a butterfly and herb garden, the sundial spur, the cutting, the gas-house, vine garden, a small lake, hill-top green and Summit look-out. There are several level sites suitable for a marquee and a myriad of photo opportunities to capture the memories.
