Hi, I’m Bernie and I am your Proposal Picnic specialist! I have a passion for singing, vintage styling and event planning, with a Bachelor Degree in Tourism and Event Management and over 10 years experience in performing at events and weddings. This knowledge and experience has given me a strong grasp on what it takes to organise and coordinate a successful event. Growing up, I have helped my dad source gifts and organise surprise date nights for my mum. Dad is a successful Project Manager with a busy schedule, but when it comes to his personal life, he has always needed a subtle reminder and a bit of inspiration. I wanted to create a service that takes the stress out of arguably one of the biggest moments of a person’s life, proposing to the one they love. With an eye for detail, a sustainable mindset and a huge belief in the amazing products and businesses that South Australia has to offer, Be in the Good Books was born.
