At the time it was one of the largest private buildings in Australia and it has had a colourful history as a social centre for the Avon Valley, and entertained many for National and International dignitaries. Today it is a private residence set on 21 hectares and is located 100km East of Perth in the Avon Valley between Northam and Toodyay.
