Kake co

Kake Co. was created by Pru Rustean who grew up in the picturesque South West of Western Australia. She has always had a passion for experimenting in the kitchen and is a sucker for sweets. After moving to Bondi Beach in Sydney and working at The Health Emporium (a beautiful organic, health food store) for three years and having her eyes opened up to a whole new world of sweet treats that were not only delicious but also nutritious she began experimenting with raw deserts in her own kitchen. Every dinner had to be followed by dessert and with an abundance of naturally sweet ingredients, whole-foods, nuts and super-foods available in the Bondi bubble she started regularly creating pretty cakes that not only looked and tasted beautiful but wouldn't give you that guilty feeling after indulging in a big slice of cake after your meal. Every birthday, get together or special event would be the perfect excuse to whizz up a new flavour of edible art to share with her friends and family. There is no denying that eating and creating food with fresh, whole, unrefined, living, plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, nuts and seeds, which when consumed in their natural state (raw), without cooking or steaming give you more energy, help you stay fuller for longer, make your skin glow and your cells zing. With a large amount of people who have jumped on the raw, vegan lifestyle train lately, it didn't take long for people to start placing cake orders for birthdays and special events. Prue continued learning and building on her non-baking knowledge and took Kake.co to Byron Bay for 4 years and now lives in Dunsborough, WA where Kake Co. continues...
