Celebrate Cakes

As a self confessed sweet tooth, baking fiend and craft junkie, cake decoration and the creation of edible masterpieces was a natural bringing together of my greatest joys in life. Back in 2007, wishing to indulge my love of cake making and decorating, but not wishing to eat everything that came out of my kitchen, I started taking my cakes into the office each week and selling them to my colleagues. In fairly short order I achieved three things: 1 – addicted all my office mates to my sugared creations; 2 – raised $2,000 for charity from the sale of the cakes and; 3 – planted the seed that flowered into Celebrate Cakes. In 2012, I was delighted to win 2nd Best Wedding Cake and 3rd Best Art Deco Wedding Cake, at the Cake Artists Australia Awards, held at the Everything Baking Expo, Perth Convention and Expo Centre, February 2012 . Celebrate Cakes was born out of my love of creating the edible masterpieces that form such an important part of so many of life’s major milestones. I believe that the taste of the cake is just as important as the way it looks and so every cake is made from fresh ingredients – never cake mix – and lovingly made by hand. I have carefully researched each of my recipes to ensure that your special cake is perfect and have a broad range of flavours from which you may choose to customise your creation.
