Founded in 1999 by Lynette Toorie, Brides by Design began as a collection of couture gowns tailored for the modern, independent bride. With over 25 years of experience, Lynette’s journey took her from America and the Caribbean to Western Australia, driven by love, family, and a passion for her craft. Initially launched as a concept store in South Perth, the business thrived as a wholesaler to bridal boutiques nationwide. However, Lynette shifted the focus to personalized, one-on-one care, creating custom couture gowns with the support of a highly trained team—a legacy that continues today.

Inspired by the modern, independent woman, Brides by Design encourages creativity, producing high-quality, custom-made gowns with exceptional attention to detail. Their reputation for excellence has seen their gowns sent to brides around the globe.
