Eye Am Hair is permanently based in Hobart, Tasmania at Red Square, Macquarie Point.Nestled in a cosy corner of the lush, leafy edible garden precinct at Red Square, our two fully functional hairdressing salons reside in two bespoke caravans- and they offer an experience that is personalised, one-on-one, and truly unique.The stylists at Eye Am Hair have been carefully handpicked for their skill and vibrant personalities. They are masters of their game and each have extensive experience in the industry both nationally and internationally. Our stylists are highly trained curl specialists, and have trained in the Curly Method to expertly cater for our clientele of 65% curly, wavy and afro haired people.You can be assured that our hair gurus know what they are doing with your mane- they’re a little eccentric, up-to-date with the latest trends and open to alternative concepts. Find out more about each of our stylists here.Up and running since 2015, Eye Am Hair was born as a result of founder and director Chelsea De Main’s love of hairdressing, distaste for conforming to the norm, and a desire to change how we can experience hairdressing and self-care. Eye Am Hair challenges the typical mainstream salon environments by rejecting non-essential standards for operation. A caravan salon is the perfect place to decentralize hairdressing culture and appeal to people who like to do things a little differently.
