Bec Bakes is a beloved cake boutique in the Sutherland Shire, renowned for crafting visually stunning and irresistibly delicious treats. Specializing in custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and slices, Bec Bakes offers everything from elegant wedding cakes to playful kids' birthday creations, all made fresh with premium ingredients. Bec’s journey into the world of baking began at a young age, always finding joy in creating sweet treats with friends. A Wedding Cake Course in Year 10 revealed her natural talent for cake decorating, leading her to become one of the top Hospitality students in her state by Year 12. Despite this, she initially pursued a different path, studying a Media Degree at the University of Wollongong before realizing her true passion lay elsewhere. After traveling the world, working at a summer camp in New York, au pairing in London, and building a corporate career that took her across Australia and beyond, she never let go of her love for baking.

While working full-time, Bec maintained a small cake business on the side, originally known as "Baking Beccy." As demand grew, so did her ambition, and in 2016, she took the leap into running her business full-time, rebranding it as Bec Bakes. Now, with dozens of cakes leaving her studio each week and an ever-growing customer base, Bec continues to push boundaries in the world of custom cakes. With exciting plans on the horizon, Bec Bakes is only getting started—watch this space!
