Description
Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Natasha discovered her love for sweets at an early age. Some of her fondest childhood memories involved watching street vendors prepare Martabak, a beloved Indonesian pancake, as she marveled at the process of layering butter and fillings. When asked about her dream, she confidently declared she wanted to be a Martabak seller—a passion that, though momentarily forgotten, never truly faded.
Years later, Natasha rediscovered her calling and pursued formal training at Le Cordon Bleu Sydney, earning an Advanced Diploma of Hospitality (Patisserie). In 2013, while completing her bachelor’s degree, she launched Petite et Belle, specializing in macarons and birthday cakes. Her career flourished as she worked as a full-time pastry chef at some of Sydney’s most prestigious restaurants and patisseries.
Despite her success, Natasha felt drawn toward something more personal—a creative pursuit that allowed her to craft elegant, buttercream-adorned cakes and delicate desserts. Trading the fast-paced world of commercial kitchens for the intimate joy of bespoke baking, she founded Flourette, a brand dedicated to artful, handcrafted confections.
Today, Flourette embodies Natasha’s passion for refined flavors and exquisite aesthetics, offering custom cakes and petite desserts designed to bring joy and elegance to every occasion.
