I’m a Christian, husband to my amazing wife Charlene, and father to two beautiful children (Arielle and Jamie). In 2012 I left my career in the software industry to start JASON TEY STUDIOS.“You really should give up your career as an engineer and become an artist”… said no Asian parent ever.Despite that, I began this business with a very specific purpose in mind and and it’s something I’m passionate about. I believe that the most valuable human relationship in your lifetime is your marriage and the best environment for children to thrive is a family where mum and dad love each other.My purpose is to make images so beautiful it will remind you of how you felt when you were married. If I can bring back those feelings time and time again, maybe one day it will help save your marriage.That’s how I started, and we continue that mission today. I feel it’s the biggest gift we can give to you and your future children.Changing career direction like that hasn’t been an easy journey but my secret weapon is my wife. We were married back in 2010 and have experienced the full spectrum of ups and downs throughout our marriage. I’ve learned that she is God’s gift to me. It’s “us against the world!” and you’ll see that theme throughout my photography.Over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of couples and even managed to pick up international accolades along the way. Amidst all that I’m simply searching for creative ways to bring my purpose and passion for marriage into people’s lives.
