Hi, my name is Karen, and I’m one of Tasmania’s most well known contemporary photographers. Marcel and I live with our teenage daughter and a very small dog on a few acres on the mountain just above Hobart. We look out over the ocean, with Mt Wellington right behind us, we love living there! I was born in Tasmania, although I have lived abroad for a number of years and have travelled widely in Asia and Europe, always carrying a camera of course…I have been photographing for a long time and I am very passionate about being a photographer, in my own personal and relaxed style, at the highest level of professionalism. I’m always very busy as a documentary, wedding and portrait photographer, whether it is actually photographing or editing a session or working on a private artistic project. I have an excellent eye to capture people. You can trust me to do a very good job at photographing your wedding, your corporate event or your portrait session. I’m a good communicator and listener, which helps a lot in getting those shots that make a difference.
