Redwing Farm

Redwing Farm was bought by Farmer Damien's family in 1998, and at this time the homestead and yard area were in a state of disrepair. However Farmer Damien found himself a wife and in 2006 we moved into the run-down property and began extensive renovations. Once the project started, and they got the DIY bug, it evolved into renovating everything in sight! As the homestead and gardens sprang into life, we realised how lucky we were to have fallen on this place. We fell in love with the property and wanted to share it with all of those people keen to get out into the country and experience a working farm - whether it was to have a quiet break or as a base for experiencing all the region has to offer. We used our experience in renovating and our background in tourism to restore Redwing Farm and the properties on it to the standard that we believe makes our guests’ visit perfect! After a few years of hard work, Redwing Farm now has three luxury accommodation offerings, from self-contained buildings to glamping at its best: Redwing Shearers Quarters, Redwing Barn and Little Patty. Redwing Shearer's Quarters is the oldest building on the property – an 1860’s workers room, with a recent addition, and an extensive makeover, to bring it into the 21st century for couples and families alike. Redwing Barn, a 1950’s hay shed, has been similarly converted into a modern take on an original farm building. Once again catering to all walks of life, and with mod cons to match, it’s a fantastic space to watch the world go by. Little Patty is our 1950’s caravan. With king and double beds, fridge, microwave, tv and heating/cooling inside, plus her own firepit, bathroom and BBQ area outside, Little Patty is glamping at it's best! Officially opening in 2021 is our unique and rustic function venue- The Shed at Redwing Farm. We are able to offer you a one of a kind venue for all group activities, from weddings, to birthdays to community events and markets, and everything in between. We have grown to love our special place at Redwing Farm and feel proud to share it with our guests. Redwing Farm not only gives people the opportunity to see what country living is all about, but importantly gives people a chance to disconnect to reconnect. It’s the simple things that matter!
