Trev Weaver

Trev is a full-time professional singer/guitarist who for the past 15 years has worked extensively both in Australia and overseas. Prior to commencing a solo career he was lead vocalist for some of Tassie's top bands, gigging and touring with the cream of Australian popular music acts. Then, turning solo, for 4 years he performed at the top venues on Queensland's Gold Coast.This was followed by a year based in Airlie Beach, entertaining throughout the network of island resorts, including 3 months as a member of the musical staff on Great Keppel Island. Then a move to Europe, with 12 months playing in London, Germany and the ski resorts and clubs of Austria. The following 6 years were spent travelling between commitments in Australia and Europe.Upon returning to Tasmania, he became a member of the entertainment team at Wrest Point Casino and Launceston Country Club, also fulfilling engagements in the hotel, private and corporate sectors, including regular stints aboard Spirit of Tasmania 1 and 2.Equally at home performing to many varied audiences, he specializes in providing live wedding music and live music for private and corporate functions. His versatility and wide selection of songs invariably leaves people asking for more.Utilising sequenced backing to produce a full band sound, or playing acoustically, he has a repertoire of over 200 songs; classics from the 60's to the 90's and new releases regularly updated. With a great vocal range, solid guitar and true sense of entertainment, his dynamic live performances ensure that his music is in constant demand.
