From the age of about eight I have been designing my own parties – I can’t remember a single birthday where I didn’t carefully plan out the theme, decorations, and colour scheme for all of my little friends to enjoy, and even subcontracting my dad to build and install my vision for my school's year 10 formal.I have maintained that enthusiasm for creating beautiful events over the past eight years, while working with a variety of brands big and small throughout my time in some amazing design and events roles throughout Australia. The timing is now right for me to bring my passion closer to home, and create memorable celebrations with Willow Events.Willow Events is my way of combining my passion for creative design, elaborate installations, and celebrating all the special moments in life. I love the challenge of taking the most amazing ideas and translating them into unique events that are beautiful in real life – not just on the ‘gram!Now more than ever we are collectively realising the importance of the little moments in life that should be celebrated. In a year of chaos, I was privileged to be able to create beautiful (and COVID-safe!) event designs for birthday parties, surprise balloon installations and Christmas events, that saw family and friends come together to celebrate the small moments that we have grown a new sense of appreciation for.As the lead event designer at Willow Events I am passionate about thinking outside the box and turning unique, left-of-field ideas into memorable event designs. Alongside my trusted team of construction and installation experts (yes, I am still subcontracting my dad and now also my husband) we are ready to bring your wildest dreams to life, no matter how big or small.
